Principal's Message'
 July, 2008Dear Parents, Summer is finally here and we are all looking forward to fun in the sun! As we enter the season of day camps, softball games, and swimming lessons I want to remind you to help your child continue reading and learning. To help keep your child engaged in educational activities refer to RIF’s Summer Reading Calendar. The Chicago Public Library has their summer reading program, READ GREEEN - LIVE GREEN. You can also look into programs at the Art Institute, the Museum of Science and Industry, and the Planetarium, to name just a few. Don’t forget events your community organizations may be hosting. Our city has much to offer to our children during the summer months. Please take advantage of these opportunities.
