About NCLB P.A.C. (Parent Advisory Council)

The "No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB)" of 2001 was signed into law by President George W. Bush on January 8, 2002. The NCLB law which became effective on July 1, 2002, mandates meaningful consultation between parents and school districts.

The Palmer Parent Advisory Council (P.A.C.) is part of NCLB. The P.A.C. meets monthly and discusses plans to promote parental involvement and enhance home /school communication. All parents are encouraged to attend our meetings. For more information about NCLB go to   www.NoChildLeftBehind.gov
